I remember the first time I heard The Cure's Kiss me, kiss, kiss me album... I was nine or ten, hanging out in Lisbon with my brother Hondeck, and he gave me a tape with Just like Heaven on it... It's still one of my favourite songs, and I guess I know the lyrics because I memorized them from a tape leaflet that summer... So much has changed, memorising song lyrics in the age of MP-3 is not the same is it? Anyway, The Cure came
to Madrid last week, but unfortunately, I was not lucky enough to see them live... So I've spent the last few days looking for a cure for my devastating disappointment... In ode to Robert Smith, and the boys from The Cure, here are a few places in Madrid where you can find some cures for healing hearts and minds...

The ones I've been to and can recommend:

The Chi Spa- a day spa located off of Serrano, I was very impressed by the quiet and solitude... Somehow at the Chi Spa it feels like you're alone in the city... It really is a great place to hide from urban noise... All sorts of different treatments, massages, facials... Lots of attentive personnel waiting to give you all sorts of advice...
